fall xc
who is fall xC for?
Fall XC is for those six years of age through High School seniors. Each runner will get a weekly training plan designed for their current experience and fitness level. Fall XC is for both those who are newer to competitive running and want to gain experience AND those who want to reach a new level and become more competitive runners.
What is the fall xc program?
The Fall XC season is about getting stronger as a runner, learning the skills and tactics to race XC races, and competing at XC races in preparation for Fall Junior Olympics XC in Mid-October through early December, when the NC state meets takes place. During Fall XC coach Bobby will design training individualized for each athlete that is focused on developing strength and fitness for Cross Country events. In addition to the weekly designed training, there will be two group practices per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The team will also compete in a number of Cross Country meets together.

when and where is Fall XC?
Fall XC will last from mid-August until mid-October. This will flow into Fall Junior Olympics XC which will go from Mid-October until early December.

The first practice will be Tuesday August 22nd. Practices will be held each Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30PM-6:45PM. Our main practice locations will be at Bur-Mil Park or Military Park. However, we may also meet at other parks or tracks in the area.
Cross Country Meets:
Fall XC training will be built around competing in multiple Cross Country meets in North Carolina. Athletes can also run in the Fall XC program without competing in the Cross Country events or choosing to only do a few of the events.
